Non-Verbal is not Non-Understanding

Rebecca Hope’s Sunday School teachers reported that she was very engaged during class today - happy, singing and dancing. They were teaching a lesson about love. They asked the kids if they loved their mommies and daddies and my Becca responded by blowing kisses. I absolutely love it. She may not have words yet, but she understands so much and communicates in other ways.

Non-verbal does not mean non-understanding and it doesn’t mean non-communicative.
